Sarah Palin - Van Halen - Vogue

I missed the Republican Speech of the Year by Sarah Palin last night. I will catch the rerun on YouTube. I was busy working on stuff related to my small business start-up.

The speech was the main topic of discussion at lunch today in our cafeteria, which provides free lunch to our associates. I had salisbury steak, mashed potatos, and carrot/pea medley with a small slice of carrot cake. Everyone at my table, HR professionals all, were very impressed with the way Ms. Palin spoke and how she handled her critics.

Then there was this comment from someone in the Gen Y Demographic: "She looks to me like she is trying to wear her hair like it is from that old Van Halen video. You know, Hot for Teacher." All the males at the table chuckled and nodded.

I doubt this was what she thought in wearing her up in a half-do. Right? We need to check in with Eddie and Wolfgang Van Halen.
