For the second year in a row, RMSI has achieved the number one position in the Top 25 Great Places to Work ® 2008 study in India. This year the study was conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute, US, in partnership with The Economic Times- Indian's largest financial daily. Based in Noida, India, RMSI provides the entire spectrum of geospatial services, from consulting to application development to spatial analysis and modeling to remote sensing and data conversion. When asked about RMSI's repeat performance as India's top place for employment, Managing Director, Rajesh Kalra said "Getting on any list is easier. Sustaining it is difficult. Every year, every time we have participated (in employee satisfaction surveys) we have tried to raise the bar." The study relied heavily on direct employee feedback. Authors of the study define a great place to work as having employees who are: #1 trusting in management, #2 prideful in one's job, and #3 enjoying camaraderie with fellow employees.
The Best Workplaces in India list was produced by Great Place to Work® Institute India in collaboration with The Economic Times.
The list was published on May 19, 2008 as a special supplement in the leading financial newspaper in India, The Economic Times.
The 25 best workplaces are ranked, while number 26-50 are listed in alphabetical order.
