Fortune Best 100 Companies to Work For List and Career Page Links #1 - 25

Image via WikipediaThis is a listing of the Fortune Top 100 companies to work for in America. Even while America seems to be slipping further into an economic slack period, many of these top companies still offer career opportunity. Even Google has seen some rare turnover.

Per a Fortune article by Anne Fisher, "It's worth noting that the 100 Best Companies are phenomenal job-creation machines. They employed about 1.6 million people in 2007, up 16% from the year before."

While it may not be easy getting in the door, there is always the chance that it will happen. It happened to me this year.

According to Fisher's article, the odds can be long: "The average company on the list has 15,853 people on the payroll - and gets 96,062 applicants each year."
